1° Day: Arrival in Matera and setting

The arrival in Matera marks the beginning of a unique journey. After checking in at a refined hotel, dedicate yourself to a first encounter with the city, letting the timeless charm of the Sassi envelop you gently.

2° Day: Adventure in Sassi and the Murgia Park

Cross the paths of Sassi di Matera, where history and craftsmanship come together in a sensorial experience: tufaroli, ceramics, whistles, bread stamps, papier-mâché, and oil are the protagonists of this lively cultural story. Visit the traditional oven with a bread-making lesson and tasting, and immerse yourself in the authentic atmosphere of the Casa Grotta and the rock churches.
In the afternoon, a gentle excursion to discover the Murgia Park, with an aperitif at sunset that paints the unique nature of the area with poetry.

3° Day: Murgecchia and the Crypt of Original Sin

A short transfer takes you to the prehistoric site of Murgecchia, a landscape that enchants among quarries and the historical wonders of the Crypt of Original Sin, where time seems to have suspended its breath.
The experience ends with an exclusive aperitif at Casal Dragone, a local wine factory, for a moment of Lucanian taste and hospitality.

4° Day: Polignano a Mare, Alberobello and Bari
Departure for an exciting day that takes you from the Matera hinterland to the Apulian coasts. First stop Polignano a Mare, known for its breathtaking views of the Adriatic Sea. Continue to Alberobello, a UNESCO heritage site, with its characteristic trullo houses, the undisputed symbol of Puglia.

5° Day: Bari
The day begins in Bari, where you can enjoy a city tour with an authentic experience, an immersion in local flavors and stories. For those who wish, the option of a relaxing sailing tour makes this evening truly unforgettable.
Distance by van: Matera - Polignano a Mare about 70 km; Polignano - Alberobello about 40 km; Alberobello -
Bari about 50 km. Walking between cities: 3-5 km.

This itinerary combines history, culture, nature and gastronomy, enriching each stop with authentic atmospheres and moments of taste, always starting from Matera, for an unforgettable experience between Basilicata and Puglia.
