Day 1 – Arrival in Bari & First Impressions

Arrival in Bari marks the start of your Apulian escape. After check-in at a selected pet-friendly hotel in the city center, enjoy a leisurely walk through the historic streets of Bari Vecchia, where everyday life unfolds among stone alleys and laundry-lined balconies.

In the late afternoon, follow the seafront promenade to take in the views over the Adriatic and let the gentle breeze welcome both you and your pet to Puglia. In the evening, taste local specialties such as focaccia barese and panzerotti in a traditional trattoria with outdoor seating, ideal for guests with dogs.*

Day 2 – Authentic Bari & Coastal Strolls

This day is dedicated to discovering the soul of Bari at a relaxed pace. A guided walking tour introduces you to the basilicas, elegant squares and craft workshops of the old town, while your pet accompanies you along shaded lanes and stone courtyards.*

Later, head towards the city’s seafront areas, where you can enjoy a pleasant coastal walk and, depending on the season, relax on stretches of beach where dogs are welcome or more tolerated. The atmosphere is informal and vibrant, perfect for blending local life and slow travel with your companion.*

Day 3 – Trani, Castel del Monte & Polignano a Mare

In the morning, depart by minivan for Trani, a charming seaside town known for its Romanesque cathedral overlooking the sea and its lively marina. Stroll along the harbor and through the historic center, where limestone buildings and sea views create a uniquely elegant atmosphere.*

Continue inland to the area of Castel del Monte, the iconic octagonal fortress set among gentle hills. While the interior may have access restrictions for pets, the surrounding paths offer a scenic setting for easy walks and memorable photos. In the afternoon, reach Polignano a Mare and check in at a pet-friendly accommodation. Here, dramatic cliffs, panoramic terraces and white alleys invite you to wander at sunset over the Adriatic.*

Day 4 – Polignano, Alberobello & Locorotondo – Night in Ostuni

Day 5 – Ostuni & Lecce – Night in Lecce

The morning is dedicated to Ostuni and its charming historic center, where narrow streets, viewpoints and small squares overlook the surrounding countryside and the distant sea. Depending on the season, there is the possibility of a short excursion to the nearby coast, where some stretches of beach are suitable for guests traveling with dogs.*

In the afternoon, departure for Lecce, the baroque capital of Salento. After check-in at a pet-friendly hotel, a first orientation walk introduces you to its piazzas, stone palaces and ornate churches. Day 6 – Baroque Lecce & Salento Flavors

Day 7 – Breakfast & Departure
