I am Delia and I was born on a sunlit summer morning in Matera, the ancient heart of Italy and one of the world’s oldest cities.

I have always been driven by a fascination for history, culture, and the vibrant tapestry of human connection.

My academic journey deepened this passion: I studied Anthropology at university, gaining valuable insight into diverse cultures, traditions, and the remarkable ways people experience the world.

With over ten years of experience in the tourism industry, it’s time to turn my vision into reality: launching my own company alongside my dear friend and trusted travel professional, Tina

I'm Tina Bitetti, and I live in Matera, where I was born — an extraordinary city, a UNESCO World Heritage site where history and tradition intertwine among its iconic Sassi and timeless hospitality.

My journey in tourism began with a deep love for discovery and an adventurous spirit. Traveling across the world, I’ve been fortunate enough to experience many cultures, each one inspiring me and broadening my vision of travel as a means to connect with people and places truly.

For many years, I poured my passion into running a travel agency, crafting bespoke journeys to extraordinary destinations. I’ve also played a part in Matera’s tourism story, lovingly managing hospitality spaces and greeting guests as dear friends.

We met on a spring afternoon in 2009, when Delia, fresh out of university, stepped into Tina's travel agency and announced she wanted to go to Africa. Tina didn’t quite believe her, but she prepared a travel quote for Kenya nonetheless. Just three months later, Delia boarded her flight to Mombasa! That’s how Delia became Tina’s ‘legend’—it was hard to believe that a small-town girl would travel alone to another continent. Since then, Delia has booked other trips with Tina, and they have become close friends, leading up to embarking on this new adventure together!
